Our 2019 employment law seminar series is set to assist businesses in understanding how to effectively run and regulate conduct meetings and dismissals, how to handle subject access requests from your employees and what changes in employment law you need to be aware of and adapt to.

Employment law changes fast and it is business-critical to stay informed. This session will cover recent key changes and expected movements through 2019 and beyond.
10:15 to 10:35 Break and networking
10:35 to 11:15: Data protection and employee relations
The second part of the seminar will provide you with an update as to how data protection has evolved since the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation in May 2018 and whether the changes that were supposed to be made have been.
Also, as more employees begin to tactically use subject access requests as a weapon, we will show you how to mitigate the risks of employees requesting their data and, if required, how to effectively process subject access requests to reduce their impact on your business.
11:15 to 12:00: Performance management and dismissals
We will run you through the process of issuing warnings and dismissing staff due to their conduct. This session will cover the legal issues that you might encounter, along with a run through of suspensions, investigations, hearings, decision making and appeals.
