Multi-award winning law firm, Flint Bishop Solicitors, is pleased to announce several new lateral hires within the Defendant Personal Injury department
Due to expansion and innovative ways of working, Flint Bishop have attracted staff from BLM, DAC Beachcroft LLP and Keoghs. Andrew Burgess, Rehana Ahmed, Kayleigh Thornton and Kush Raichura all join the firm as specialist Personal Injury Lawyers and are currently supporting a major insurance client, Haven Insurance Company Limited. Sarah Barber also joins the business from Neo Law as a specialist Costs Lawyer.
The department, which has seen exponential growth in the last twelve months, is now the largest Defendant Personal Injury team in the East Midlands. They have devised and implemented bespoke processes and strategies tailored to the needs of their clients, which has allowed the team to efficiently deal with the work they undertake, which have received excellent praise amongst the insurance industry.
The department have a formidable reputation for robustly pursuing insurance claims on behalf of insurers and also offer a counter Fraud service under the guise of ex-DAC Beachcroft expert, Raj Sumal. Raj has been instrumental in developing the department through expanding their Fraud offering and developing and enhancing other key areas, such as Credit Hire and Large Loss claims.

The department is led by Legal 500 ‘Elite’ lawyer, Qamer Ghafoor. Qamer is Managing Partner of Commercial Services and Head of Litigation. He has been personally shortlisted in the Managing Partner Forum awards, against competition from multi-billion pound turnover firms across the world.
