Flint Bishop News: Derby 10k 2014
Derby law firm Flint Bishop LLP is sponsoring the 2014 Sporting Futures Derby 10K for the fifth year running.
This year’s Sporting Futures Derby 10K is set to be the biggest yet, with over 5,000 runners from across the East Midlands taking part.
The majority of runners will be raising money for charity by testing themselves on the tarmac. And as usual Flint Bishop staff will also be joining Sporting Futures Derby 10K with a team of their own.
Why Flint Bishop is sponsoring the Sporting Futures Derby 10K
Flint Bishops’ Managing Partner says: “The Sporting Futures Derby 10K partnership gives us a great opportunity to increase our exposure in Derby. But on top of that, it also gives us the chance to support Sporting Futures, a charity that helps young people from some of the most deprived parts of Derbyshire. Their work is invaluable in turning around the lives of people through sport.”
In addition to Flint Bishop providing financial support for Sporting Futures through sponsorship, Flint Bishop also sits on the management committee and provides free commercial and business planning advice.
Stuart Felce, Acting Director of Sporting Futures says: “We’re delighted that Flint Bishop is again sponsoring the Sporting Futures Derby 10K. Like all charities, raising finance is hugely important to us and this partnership is invaluable.”
The Sporting Futures Derby 10K has a different route for 2014, but as usual is starting and finishing at the iPro stadium, the home of Derby County Football Club.
