It is important that Personal Licence Holders remember to attend a Scottish Certificate of Personal Licence Holders refresher training course.
Refresher training is for operators who were issued with their Scottish Personal Licence before the 1 September 2009 and must be completed by the 31 August 2014 or within five years of the date on which the Licence was issued, if after the 1 September 2009.
The Licensing Board must be notified by the 1 December 2014 that the refresher training has been completed or within three months of the training date thereafter. It is important that Personal Licence Holders take careful note.
Failure to comply with the deadlines will result in a Personal Licence being revoked. If a Personal Licence is revoked the holder of that Licence cannot apply for a new Personal Licence until 5 years after the date on which the Licence was revoked.
