David Miller has advised Derby County Football Club on a three year deal with its new shirt sponsor JUST EAT.
JUST EAT operates the world’s largest online marketplace for ordering takeaway online, providing consumers with an easy and secure way to order food from thousands of local takeaway restaurants, online via desktop, tablet, mobile or app.
The deal, which replaces a four-year sponsorship agreement with buymobilephones.net, will see JUST EAT’s company logo displayed on the front of the Rams’ shirts starting from the beginning of the 2014/15 season.
In addition to the shirt sponsorship, the deals include a wide range of activity including experiential stunts during matchdays, joint activity on the Rams and JUST EAT’s social media channels, plus sponsorship of a specific Derby County Community Trust Project.
Sam Rush, Derby County’s President & Chief Executive said:
“We are delighted to have an international brand of JUST EAT’s stature becoming our shirt sponsor for the next three seasons.
The deal is a reflection of the progress we have made as a Club in recent times and we’re looking forward to working closely with JUST EAT in the months and years ahead.”
David Miller comments:
“This is another great deal for Derby County Football Club, particularly coming so soon after agreeing their stadium naming rights deal with iPro, and welcoming an investment by businessman Mel Morris.
We are proud of our position as one of the market leaders in advising in the business of sport. And for me personally, working with the club on this type of deal is always exciting.”
