Ed Hollands met his mentor Graham Mullholland at the Network of Entrepreneurs event, is which sponsored by Flint Bishop.

One of the areas that entrepreneurs struggle with is connecting with the right people to support their business. Time is precious when you are starting a new business and we understand it takes a lot of effort to get a business off the ground.

We help Derby’s growing number of entrepreneurs to get their businesses off to a good start and help them to connect with leading professionals and successful entrepreneurs who can help them to grow and succeed. This exciting event also gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to talk to our team and meet students from the University of Derby.

Ed Hollands, owner of DrivenMedia recently appeared on Dragon’s Den and secured a £30,000 investment from Jenny Campbell. Ed has thanked not only his degree for preparing him to face the dragons but also the mentoring opportunities available through the University of Derby.

Ed Hollands comments:

“The Network of Entrepreneurs event was the networking event where I met my mentor and now an investor, Graham Mullholland. I advise any young entrepreneur who is interested in following my footsteps to get yourself along to many networking events as possible and this event is a fantastic starting point”.

Andrew Cochrane comments:

“We are delighted to be a sponsor of the Network of Entrepreneur event with Derby University. Over the years, this event has helped students like Ed Hollands as well as local professionals and academics. All guests engage with one another whilst enjoying the company of our fantastic guest speakers who possess a unique and interesting entrepreneurial experience”.

Our next Network of Entrepreneur’s event will be held at Derby Museum on Wednesday 11 April 2018.
