Ramathon, an annual event, see thousands of professional and amateur runners from across the region take part in the 21k run, which is taking place on 04 June 2017.
Claire Tonks has annually led the corporate challenge at the Derby 10k but has chosen to run her first half marathon for Safe and Sound.
Safe and Sound are a charitable organisation who work to fight child sexual exploitation by up-skilling practitioners, who work with children. They also support the local community and seek to educate individuals on what exploitation is and how to tackle it.
Andrew Cochrane comments;
“Claire is a keen runner in the firm and annually has been instrumental in getting people involved in our community-based events. She participates in most running challenges and has become a real champion for encouraging the junior members of the firm to get involved. Safe and Sound is a fantastic charity at the heart of our community. I hope our local businesses will support Claire as she seeks to raise a minimum of £500. All the best to Claire and the other participants on the day.”
