Amelia Gale advises clients of significant wealth on preparing all types of wills, as well as dealing with high-value estate administration.

She also provides inheritance tax planning advice to help clients protect their assets against the risks associated with death, divorce or bankruptcy, as well as setting up and administering trusts.

Amelia has a compassionate manner when dealing with vulnerable individuals and is an associate member of Solicitors for the Elderly, which specialises in the safeguarding, care and wellbeing of older clients.

Amelia is well-versed in dealing with cross-border issues as part of her wills and estate administration caseload.

In addition to advising on tax planning and will writing, Amelia is frequently involved with obtaining deputyship orders from the Court of Protection to safeguard the interests of incapacitated and vulnerable individuals.

Amelia also has a wealth of experience of acting on behalf of court-appointed deputies to help them to manage a person’s finances in accordance with the court’s requirements.

She is currently studying for the prestigious international Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners’ (STEP) qualification, which recognises a person’s knowledge and experience of helping families plan for their futures.

Having completed a bachelor’s degree in economics at the University of Leeds, Amelia then gained her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the Birmingham University of Law.
