Grace, joined Flint Bishop’s Sheffield office as a Trainee Solicitor in 2025.

Now in her third seat within our licensing department, Grace works on all aspects of alcohol, entertainment, betting, and gaming licensing law with a broad range of clients, including individual operators and national multi-site businesses, helping them navigate the full range of licensing requirements.

She is also passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, reflecting her approachable and collaborative style.

Prior to her training contract, Grace worked as a Paralegal at Lupton Fawcett, gaining experience in Employment and Dispute Management.

As part of her training contract she completed her first and second seats in Commercial Property, during which Grace operated on complex, high-value transactions, and acted for major lenders on secured lending matters. Her experience spans niche asset classes, requiring sector-specific expertise, while consistently managing multi-party relationships and ensuring transactions are completed efficiently and in compliance with regulatory and firm standards.

Grace was named Rising Star of the Year at the 2026 Sheffield & District Law Society Awards – a prestigious award recognising lawyers in the early stages of their careers who demonstrate exceptional promise, technical ability and impact.

She was also shortlisted for Trainee of the Year at the 2025 Yorkshire Legal Awards, and was named Mentor of the Year 2024 through the Sheffield Hallam mentoring scheme, demonstrating her commitment to supporting and developing others within the legal community.

Beyond her legal work, she has been actively involved in the wider legal community, including founding and chairing the Sheffield Law Society EDI Committee, serving as Events Representative on the Sheffield JLD, mentoring students, and supporting firm-wide initiatives.
