Joel Nixon specialises in guiding clients through corporate transactions with robust advice and minimal disruption.
He regularly advises organisations in the private, third and public sectors across a variety of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations, and joint ventures, as well as providing commercial and project support.
Joel has built strong working relationships with business transaction advisors such as accountants, agents, tax specialists and financiers, to provide a collaborative approach that achieves the best and most efficient outcome for his clients.

Joel has considerable experience advising shareholders and partners on realising the value of their businesses through selling shares and assets, expanding their business through acquisitions and supporting their growth plans through equity funding or reorganising business structures as part of growth or exit plans.
Whilst Joel’s practice spans the full market, he has notable experience in the health and social care sector; in particular, acting for a range of operators across residential care, supported living, domiciliary care, healthtech, dental, pharmacy, ophthalmology and physiotherapy to name a few.
Joel also has in-house experience having worked within the General Counsel function of the Parabis Group (former home of professional services businesses such as Plexus Law, Greenwoods Solicitors and Argent Rehabilitation), acting internally on the Group’s eventual pre-pack administration and disposal to various acquirers in the market.
