Nelson Gonzalez joined Flint Bishop in 2022 as Finance Director, bringing over 20 years of financial expertise to the firm.
A chartered accountant, Nelson plays a crucial role in shaping the company’s financial strategy, risk management, and performance monitoring. His leadership and extensive experience in finance are pivotal as Flint Bishop continues to expand and evolve.
Nelson works closely with the senior leadership team to drive the firm’s financial objectives and strengthen control systems, supporting the firm’s long-term growth plans.

Nelson’s career includes leading the UK Finance team for a global service sector company, where he oversaw ERP implementation, structural reorganisation, and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
He also served as the Commercial Finance Director for the Children & Young People division of a major social care provider, managing a £500m turnover and contributing to the firm’s financial strategy. He also held senior roles at well-known retailers, including Specsavers and Jessops.
