Robert Jones is a Chartered Legal Executive in the Defendant Personal Injury department at Flint Bishop Solicitors.
Rob qualified in 1984 and joined Flint Bishop in 1999.
Rob has considerable experience in the field of Defendant Personal Injury Litigation, predominantly acting for insurance companies and self-insured organisations such as the Land Registry. Rob’s experience extends to all natures of personal injury litigation, including Employers Liability, Occupiers Liability, Public Liability and Road Traffic Accidents.
In the time he has been with Flint Bishop, Rob has been the main defendant litigator for the Land Registry, having achieved numerous high profile successes on their behalf.
Rob’s attention to detail, investigative skills, technical knowledge and negotiating skills are his main strengths and have provided the grounding for his many successes over the years, not only for the Land Registry, but on behalf of the numerous other clients for whom he has acted.
- Rob dealt with claims relating to Mesothelioma from asbestos exposure
- In 2009, he defeated 5 Upper Limb Disorder claims in a Test case, preventing a further 40 claims from being brought against the Land Registry
- In 2011, Rob successfully defended a large asbestos claim on behalf of the Land Registry at Trial, saving an excess of £500,000 in damages and costs
- He has, to date, taken 6 Land Registry claims to Trial, being successful on each occasion.
