Simon has a wealth of experience of working in partnership with employer clients to provide advice on all aspects of HR and employment law.

His previous management background has provided him with the ability to have real empathy and gravitas with clients, who appreciate his commercial, ‘hands-on’ advice, based on his own experience of handling people issues on a day-to-day basis.

Simon’s employment practice is diverse and comprehensive and encompasses advising clients on dismissals and terminations, discrimination issues, redundancies, employment contract disputes, disciplinary and grievance matters, organisational restructures and TUPE issues, whistleblowing matters and HR policies and procedures.

He conducts employment tribunal proceedings on behalf of his clients. These include large scale multi-national global corporations, public sector organisations, private limited companies, SMEs, charities, trade unions and unincorporated bodies. Simon also acts for company directors and senior executives.

Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2004, Simon has gained excellent, high-quality experience working in large Top 100 commercial legal practices, which included spending time on an overseas secondment to a global German-based client.

In addition to being a practising lawyer, Simon is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Industrial Law Society.
