Stephanie Cooper specialises in employment law and HR with a particular focus on employment tribunal litigation.

Whether it is a day-to-day employment issue, an employment tribunal matter or any other aspect of managing a workforce, Stephanie adopts a tailored approach and takes the time to understand our clients’ businesses.

She works with clients in an approachable and friendly style to identify all of their options and will then assist and support them throughout the process to achieve their end goal.

Stephanie has a wealth of specialist employment tribunal experience, having attended numerous unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing hearings.

Her clear understanding of how cases are best prepared and presented to the Tribunal enables her to provide clear and focused advice that achieves the best possible outcome.

In addition to her employment tribunal focus, Stephanie regularly advises on day-to-day employment matters including disciplinary procedures and dismissal, managing employee sickness absence, issues around discrimination, handling redundancy situations, Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment Regulations) and advising on and drafting contracts of employment and employee handbooks.

During her employment with the firm, Stephanie has also undertaken a secondment, working in-house at one of the UK’s largest pub companies.

She completed her Bachelor of Laws at Keele University and her Legal Practice Course at the Birmingham College of Law. She is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Industrial Law Society.
