Steven is a Senior Associate in our Wills, Probate, Tax and Trust department, specialising in probate, estate administration, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and Court of Protection applications.

He is particularly experienced in complex estates, including farming estates and multi-generational property, as well as making unusual or complex applications for Grants of Probate. Steven combines technical expertise with a kind and approachable manner, ensuring clients feel supported and confident throughout the process.

Steven has been in the legal profession for 40 years and qualified as an Associate Legal Executive in 1988.

He has held senior roles including Head of Private Client at Graham & Rosen Solicitors and Head of Wills and Probate at Norrie Waite & Slater Solicitors, overseeing multiple offices. Steven also has substantial experience in conveyancing, including registered and unregistered land.

Steven is a member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers and an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is passionate about helping junior team members grow and develop to fulfil their roles and career asperations, training many team members over his career, helping them qualify as Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives.
