We are recruiting for a defendant personal injury solicitor to join our Fast Track Claims team within our wider Insurance Litigation department.

Our insurance litigation solicitors and legal professionals defend some of the country’s leading insurers and self-insurers, including motor insurers and government bodies, against vast volumes of personal injury claims every year and are widely recognised throughout the country for their consistent ability to bring claims to a successful conclusion.

The significant firmwide growth that we have seen over the past few years is set to continue with our expansion into the West Midlands.

Given the high profile nature of this role and the opportunities it provides, we are seeking applications from exceptional candidates who have an excellent academic background, a proven successful track record and extensive experience within the field of insurance litigation.

Key responsibilities

The successful candidate will effectively conduct a caseload of complex defendant claims, received from motor insurance clients.

They will also:

  • Engage in high-level client relationship contact and development
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of excellence in complex defendant motor claims
  • Demonstrate a creative and innovative approach to dealing with claims
  • Assist insurer clients in devising strategies aimed at achieving exposure containment and reduction

You will:

  • Ideally have at least two years’ post-qualification experience in dealing with motor claims litigation matters.
  • Have an excellent academic background
  • Possess exceptional client care skills
  • Have excellent knowledge of IT systems and processes
  • Be a team player and able to get on with and lead others
  • Possess excellent networking and client development skills
