Aneela Saleem is a Solicitor in our Recoveries team, specialising in handling a wide range of insurance litigation matters.

Since joining Flint Bishop in 2021, she has built a reputation for her analytical precision, commercial awareness, and client-focused approach. Aneela delivers tailored, results-driven solutions, combining her strong litigation expertise with a highly proactive and strategic style.

She manages complex claims from inception through to settlement or trial, including uninsured loss recoveries, contractual disputes, breach of contract claims, debt recoveries, and judgment enforcement. Aneela also works closely with clients to streamline processes, implement efficiencies, and strengthen case outcomes, ensuring both high-quality service and cost-effective results.

Aneela joined Flint Bishop as a Recoveries Paralegal before beginning her training contract in September 2023 and qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2025.

During this time, she established herself as a key member of the Recoveries team, consistently exceeding targets while managing significant caseloads for major clients.

Her work spans small claims, fast-track, and multi-track cases, including cross-border disputes and matters involving the Motor Insurers Bureau. She has devised bespoke recovery strategies to maximise client outcomes and strengthened high-value claims by assessing liability and witness credibility alongside investigators.

Aneela is proactive in evidence gathering, carrying out MID checks, liaising with the MIB and UK handling agents, and securing critical evidence from councils, highway authorities, and witnesses to reinforce case strategies. She has also led client meetings, managed key accounts, and introduced process improvements that streamlined litigation and reduced costs.

Before joining Flint Bishop, Aneela gained valuable experience as an insurance claims handler, managing multi-million-pound contracts across public liability, employer’s liability, and motor claims.
