Charlotte Harris is a Partner in our Commercial Property department, having joined the firm in August 2026.
With over 20 years’ experience, she is a commercially focused property lawyer who works closely with clients to understand the wider objectives behind their transactions and provide clear, practical advice.
Charlotte is known for her ability to handle complex matters involving multiple stakeholders and competing commercial considerations, while maintaining a pragmatic approach to progressing transactions. She works with clients at different stages of their property journey, building a detailed understanding of their requirements and providing advice that supports their wider business objectives.
Based in our Sheffield office, Charlotte brings a wealth of experience to the firm and further strengthens our Commercial Property offering for clients in the Northern regions.
People
Charlotte advises on a broad range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, large-scale property portfolios, refinancing and funding, sale and leaseback arrangements and the property aspects of wider corporate transactions.
Her work includes managing the real estate elements of portfolio acquisitions and refinancings, dealing with the acquisition and disposal of commercial premises, and supporting funding arrangements where property forms part of the security or wider transaction. She also advises on sale and leaseback structures and provides property support on corporate transactions involving significant real estate assets.
Charlotte has particular experience in healthcare property, advising on the property aspects of acquisitions and disposals involving care homes and GP practice premises, as well as associated financing and leasing arrangements. She has worked on both individual property transactions and matters involving wider healthcare portfolios.
She also has experience in the waste and renewables sector, including through a previous secondment with FCC Environment, giving her additional insight into the property considerations of businesses operating in these specialist and evolving areas.
