Helen Carey joined Flint Bishop in 2025 and serves as Senior Associate & Operations Manager, Litigation within the Debt Services team.
Helen holds extensive expertise and an outstanding track record in debt recovery and commercial litigation, leading the Litigation team and overseeing high-volume litigation and enforcement activities—an area of significant growth. Alongside supervising team operations, she provides guidance and support for colleagues’ professional development and career progression. Her strategic leadership, operational expertise, and hands-on experience in managing complex cases are instrumental in the ongoing expansion and enhancement of our debt services offering.

In her most recent role as Head of Debt Operations at Brady Solicitors, Helen demonstrated outstanding leadership by expanding service charge collection and disputes teams, implementing streamlined processes to enhance efficiency, and overseeing recruitment and supervision. Alongside managing complex disputed cases, she delivered bespoke training programmes tailored to address individual client challenges, reducing litigation risks and optimising pre-legal debt recovery processes.
Before joining Brady Solicitors, Helen spent 16 years with the Dispute Resolution team at Shakespeare Martineau, managing small and fast-track debt recovery and commercial claims. She supported senior solicitors and partners with complex multi-track cases, gaining comprehensive experience in litigation, court processes, and achieving optimal resolutions for clients.
