Ibrar Hussain is a Senior Associate in our Dispute Management Department, based in Leeds.

He advises on a broad range of contentious commercial and residential property matters, supporting landlords, tenants, housing providers and businesses with clear, commercially focused legal advice.

He is experienced in managing complex and fast-moving disputes, with a strong focus on delivering practical solutions in high-pressure environments where commercial outcomes and risk management are key priorities.

Ibrar has a wide-ranging property litigation practice covering various disputes.

Throughout his career Ibrar has handled disputes involving breach of contract, contentious probate, boundary issues, easements, restrictive covenants, and adverse possession. He also advises on landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, break notices and commercial lease arrangements.

He has significant experience acting for registered providers and housing associations in housing management matters, including disrepair claims, possession proceedings, anti-social behaviour injunctions, access injunctions, forfeiture, trespass, interim possession orders and service charge disputes. His work often involves complex issues such as Equality Act considerations and Environmental Protection Act nuisance, alongside broader residential and commercial property enforcement work.
