Jessica Lines is a Chartered Legal Executive in our Debt Recovery team, based in Leeds. She manages a varied caseload of disputed debt recovery matters, supporting clients from the early stages of a claim through to resolution and enforcement.

With extensive experience in civil litigation, Jessica advises clients on the most appropriate way to progress their matter, prepares the necessary court documents and works closely with counsel and other parties where required. She is also experienced in negotiating settlements and helping clients resolve disputes without the need for further court action where possible.

Jessica combines strong technical knowledge with a practical and commercially focused approach. She is known for her attention to detail, clear communication and ability to manage competing priorities, while maintaining a strong focus on her clients’ objectives.

Alongside managing her own caseload, Jessica provides guidance and support to junior colleagues within the team, helping to maintain consistently high standards of client service and case management.

Before joining Flint Bishop, Jessica spent five years as a paralegal at Prosperity Law LLP. She supported clients with a broad range of debt recovery matters, including disputed claims, settlement negotiations and the enforcement of unpaid debts.

Her role involved managing cases through the different stages of the litigation process, preparing court documentation, liaising with clients and counsel, and ensuring matters progressed in line with court requirements and deadlines. This experience strengthened her knowledge of civil litigation and confirmed her decision to specialise in this area.

Earlier in her career, Jessica worked at Credit Style as a Legal Collector, where she gained her first fee-earning experience across pre-legal recovery, disputed claims and enforcement matters. She began her litigation career at Lowell Solicitors as a Complex Litigation Administrator before joining its Aspiring Paralegal programme, where she took responsibility for a supervised caseload and developed her case management skills.
