Lois Coleshill is a Trainee Solicitor in our Intellectual Property team, supporting the firm’s delivery of IP services across technology, creative, and innovation-driven sectors.

She assists with a broad range of intellectual property matters, including the protection, management, and commercialisation of IP and technology assets, as well as advising on how IP intersects with corporate transactions, disputes, and innovation-focused business strategies.

In her role, Lois works closely with colleagues across the IP team, contributing to practical, client-focused solutions for businesses at all stages, from start-ups and spin-out companies to established corporates. She is involved in supporting technology and creative businesses, software developers, manufacturers, and entrepreneurs, helping them protect their ideas and leverage their intellectual property to drive growth.

Lois began her legal journey working alongside senior IP specialists, gaining hands-on experience advising clients on IP protection, commercialisation, and strategic management of technology and creative assets.

Her experience spans a variety of sectors, enabling her to understand the commercial challenges and opportunities faced by innovation-led businesses.

Before joining Flint Bishop, Lois developed strong research, analytical, and client service skills through roles in the healthcare sector and other professional environments, equipping her with the precision and attention to detail essential for a career in intellectual property law.

She is committed to developing her expertise in IP law and contributing to Flint Bishop’s mission of delivering practical, commercially minded, and client-focused legal solutions.
