Moeez Iqbal is a trainee solicitor within our Debt Services department, working across high-volume legal recoveries and complex dispute resolution.

Since joining Flint Bishop in 2022, he has demonstrated strong ambition, resilience, and a clear commitment to developing his legal expertise. His pragmatic approach, attention to detail and drive to achieve the best possible outcomes make him a valued member of the team.

Moeez thrives on new challenges and is motivated by delivering results for clients. He takes a commercial and solution-focused approach to his work, consistently providing clear advice and proactive progress on matters. His collaborative working style and willingness to continuously develop his knowledge ensure he contributes meaningfully to client service and departmental operations.

Moeez joined the firm in October 2022 as a legal assistant in the Initial Contact Team shortly after completing his LPC and Master’s in Law at the University of Law.

He has gone on to gain experience in multiple areas of our Debt Recovery department, including Pre-Legal, Litigation and, most recently, Legal Specialist Recoveries, where he progressed to paralegal and took on responsibility as a file handler for a wide range of clients.

During this time, Moeez has developed strong capabilities in assessing claim prospects, drafting key legal documents, negotiating settlement agreements and resolving complex disputes efficiently. He has acted as a key point of contact for a number of major non-energy clients, attending monthly meetings to advise on top-balance matters and appropriate recovery strategies.

A notable achievement includes improving processes and strengthening recoveries while building an excellent ongoing working relationship. His promotion into the Litigation team reflected his ability to handle high-demand portfolios and deliver results that align with client expectations.

Moeez’s dedication to continuous development, combined with his commercial awareness and strong communication skills, supports the continued growth of our Debt Services offering.
