Robert Devine is a Solicitor in our Corporate & Finance department, where he advises on a broad range of complex business matters, including acquisitions and disposals, corporate restructuring, and finance transactions.

Rob is recognised for his professionalism, commercial awareness, and strong client focus. Having worked closely with senior leadership and high-profile clients from the outset of his career at Flint Bishop, he brings a unique blend of legal expertise and strategic understanding to his work. His ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike ensures he delivers tailored, pragmatic solutions that align with both commercial objectives and long-term strategy.

Rob first joined Flint Bishop in November 2022 as a Legal Assistant to the Executive Team, working directly with Chief Executive Qamer Ghafoor and other board members. He went on to complete his training contract with the firm, qualifying as a Solicitor in the Corporate & Finance department in 2025.

As part of his early role, Rob supported a number of significant matters, including the firm’s strategic acquisition of the Walker Morris Banking & Recoveries division, as well as disputes involving partnership breakdowns, civil fraud, equitable claims, and insolvency proceedings.

During his training contract, Rob built on this experience by contributing to some of the firm’s most high-profile transactions, including Tynant/Derby Bar’s acquisition of Strathmore Water from AG Barr plc and a major acquisition for Bowmer + Kirkland.
