Robert Devine is a confident and talented trainee solicitor who joined Flint Bishop in November 2022 as a Legal Assistant to the Executive Team.

His exceptional ability to build rapport with clients ensures their trust in both him and the firm. Combined with his determination to exceed client expectations and repay the faith of his mentors, Robert has shown incredible development within the firm.

As part of his training contract, Robert currently works within the firm’s Corporate & Finance department, assisting clients with a range of complex business activities, including acquisitions and disposals, reorganising and restructuring, and more.

Since joining Flint Bishop, Robert has worked closely with Chief Executive Qamer Ghafoor, gaining extensive experience in high-profile and complex litigation, as well as project-based work, including the firm’s strategic acquisition of the Banking and Finance Recoveries division of Walker Morris.

He has played a key role in significant legal disputes across various sectors, including regulatory and partnership disputes, equitable claims, civil fraud, and insolvency proceedings.

As a former Legal Assistant to the Executive Team, Robert worked closely with the firm’s C-suite and board members, seizing numerous opportunities to learn directly from the management team and deliver tailored solutions to meet clients’ needs.
