Shahjana Akhtar is an experienced solicitor and litigator who helps insurers achieve successful injury claims for their clients.

Shahjana is target driven and has always achieved, if not exceeded, objectives set by her insurance clients. As well as consistently maintaining a high standard of client care, she often assists other members of the team by sharing her litigation strategy knowledge to maximise results.

Shahjana has extensive experience in dealing with a high volume of claimant personal injury matters, consisting of fast track and borderline multi-track cases, where she has gained detailed knowledge of the court procedure rules.

Throughout her career as a defendant litigator, Shahjana has achieved a 90% trial win rate on liability disputed matters and has made substantial savings for her insurer clients by working proactively and efficiently on quantum disputes.

Shahjana achieved her Bachelor of Law at Nottingham Trent University before completing her Legal Practice Course at BPP University Law School in Leeds.
