Tom Roberts is a Senior Associate in Flint Bishop’s Commercial Property team, working within the firm’s Asset Management and Development practices.
He advises a diverse client base ranging from SMEs and property investors to public companies, supporting them through a broad spectrum of commercial real estate transactions and asset management matters.
Known for his practical and commercially focused approach, Tom works closely with clients to help them acquire, develop, manage and maximise the value of their property assets, delivering clear advice that aligns with their wider business objectives.

Tom has extensive experience across all areas of commercial property, with particular expertise in asset management, acquisitions and disposals, development projects and landlord and tenant matters.
He regularly advises clients on the acquisition of commercial properties and development sites, supporting projects from initial acquisition through to site setup and the successful letting of units to occupiers.
His work also encompasses the ongoing management of commercial property portfolios, including lease negotiations, renewals, variations, licences and consents, ensuring clients can effectively manage risk while enhancing the value and performance of their assets.
Tom acts for a broad range of clients, including manufacturers, distributors, corporate occupiers, housing developers, property investors and lenders. His experience spans a variety of sectors and property types, including industrial, logistics, retail and mixed-use developments.
Recent highlights include advising a supported housing developer on the acquisition of four development sites, acting on the acquisition of a development scheme and subsequent pre-letting arrangements with both national and regional retailers, supporting major lenders in securing interests over commercial property assets, advising a UK distributor on the acquisition of a 110,000 sq ft warehouse and disposal of its existing headquarters, and assisting with the acquisition and subsequent letting of an 11-acre industrial estate.
By combining technical expertise with a strong understanding of the commercial realities facing property owners, developers and occupiers, Tom delivers pragmatic solutions that help clients achieve their strategic and investment goals.
