Sarah Burton joined Flint Bishop as a Partner in our Commercial Dispute Resolution department in September 2024.

Prior to joining Flint Bishop, Sarah served as a Dispute Resolution Partner at the renowned South Yorkshire law firm Keebles for over a decade, before joining Knights after they acquired the firm in 2021.

With more than two decades of experience, Sarah specialises in handling various commercial litigation matters, including intricate and high-value cases, particularly focusing on property-related disputes.

Sarah’s expertise extends to partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, and professional negligence claims, fortified by twelve years of offshore practice. This experience enhances Sarah’s proficiency in managing cross-border and high-value cases makes her a valuable asset in complex litigation scenarios.

Amongst Sarah’s key achievements is her instrumental role in representing a £70 million turnover client in a reputationally sensitive case against a trade body, successfully mitigating potential reputational harm.

Additional notable work highlights include managing multi-party litigation involving 54 shareholders in a share sale dispute, acting for a client in the High Court for €3.5 million relating to a contract for the purchase of goods, and representing a client from the UAE in a US$45 million breach of contract claim.
