Paul Large is an expert in counter fraud and in particular, fraud tactics in organised motor fraud.

He has successfully employed legal strategies for clients in all fraud types and involving organised fraudsters, professional enablers, ghost broking, stolen identities and claims farming. Paul takes great pride in saving clients money and sending a clear deterrent message to fraudsters via civil remedies, committal proceedings and any other Police or third party agency action.

Paul provides clear, robust and bespoke advice and strategies to clients and has been instrumental in assisting clients with fraud identification through data analysis and market trends.

He will strive to achieve the best outcomes and takes great pride in achieving results for clients through the application of his legal technical knowledge and winning strategies.

Paul's experience

Paul has gained over 10 years of experience at an international insurance law firm defending organised fraud motor claims and handling operations and fraud rings consisting of just a handful of claims, to in excess of 100 claims.

He has secured numerous fraud and fundamental dishonesty findings that have led to recoverable costs awards, instigation of Police investigations and significant disruption to professional enablers.

Paul is experienced in all aspects of motor claims including indemnity and liability issues, credit hire and of course bodily injury. He is commercially minded yet makes novel arguments where appropriate.

He has personally handled and supervised numerous Operations with varying levels of complexity and with involvement from third parties such as the Solicitors Regulation Authority, Insurance Fraud Bureau, Insurance Fraud Enforcement Department, local Police and MedCo.

Paul completed a Degree in Criminology before completing a Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at The University of Law, Birmingham.
