Section 110 notice

The Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 requires all businesses selling alcohol to display an ‘under 18s’ notice under Section 110.

This notice explains that alcohol is not to be provided to anyone under the age of 18 years, and must be displayed:

  • at all times
  • in any locations where alcohol is sold
  • in positions easily visible to anybody seeking to buy alcohol.
