Introducing Zarvin

Zarvin Vandrewala is a Partner and Joint Head of our Finance Dispute Resolution – Operational Lead, based in our Leeds office.

Working alongside Kate Hicks, he leads the firm’s Finance Dispute Resolution team, overseeing its continued growth and delivery of complex, high-value litigation and dispute resolution services for banks, building societies and other financial institutions.

He specialises in advising financial services clients on a broad range of contentious matters, with particular experience in complex litigation, financial recoveries and dispute-driven work within highly regulated environments. Zarvin is known for taking a pragmatic and commercially focused approach, helping clients navigate legal risk while supporting effective operational and strategic decision-making.

Alongside his client work, Zarvin plays a key leadership role within the team, supporting the development of high-performing lawyers and ensuring the delivery of consistent, high-quality service to clients. He is passionate about building capability within teams and helping individuals progress and achieve their career ambitions.

Zarvin's experience

Zarvin has more than 14 years’ post-qualification experience advising financial institutions, lenders and commercial organisations on complex litigation and dispute resolution matters.

Prior to joining Flint Bishop, he was a Partner at Aberdein Considine within the firm’s lender services practice, where he advised financial services clients on a broad range of contentious matters. His earlier career includes senior legal and operational leadership roles at Ascent Performance Group and BW Legal, having qualified with Irwin Mitchell in 2012.

Alongside his legal practice, Zarvin has extensive experience leading and developing teams within high-volume, complex legal environments. He is known for combining technical legal expertise with a commercial, pragmatic approach and a strong focus on client service and operational delivery.

He is also passionate about developing people and supporting colleagues in achieving their professional ambitions, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
