The merger has created the Esland Group, which stands for Eat Sleep Learn Achieve Nurture Dream.

Esland Group now specialises in caring for and educating young people with emotional, behavioural and learning difficulties.

This was a very important move for Inspiring the Next Generation Ltd (which traded as Turnaround Care) to combat their operational challenges and enable it to grow its provision of excellent residential and educational facilities.

The child services division of Rushcliffe Care, which traded as Boutlers, was in a similar position. The merger made perfect sense, creating one stronger organisation with greater opportunity for development.

John Stamp, Chief Executive Officer of the newly-formed Esland Group, commented on the business merge:

“Flint Bishop have worked closely with me on this merger, supporting right from initial conversations between both parties to advice post-deal. I expect sound advice and strong analytical skills as a given from any law firm; Flint Bishop’s Corporate & Finance team also happen to be great people to work with, which is why they will be with us as we grow and develop the Esland Group.”

A spokesperson for our Corporate & Finance team added:

“The deal exchanged almost a year prior to completion. We therefore had to balance the need to tie the parties in with the flexibility required when negotiating deal documents a year in advance of completion. This is one of a number of deals we are working on in this sector and demonstrates our expertise and reputation in getting deals done.”
