Becky Barham is an accomplished legal professional with a wealth of experience. Before joining Flint Bishop in 2023, she held several senior risk and compliance managerial roles in the legal sector.
As Head of Compliance, Becky leads the compliance function and oversees all strategic areas of regulatory compliance. She is responsible for setting and delivering strategic objectives that align with the firm’s ambitious growth plans, ensuring Flint Bishop remains compliant with relevant regulatory and auditing bodies. Motivated and committed to achieving excellence and developing legal compliance landscapes, Becky brings a proactive and dedicated approach to her role.
In addition to her role as Head of Compliance, Becky serves as the firm’s Data Protection Officer and Deputy Money Laundering Officer. With expert knowledge in regulatory compliance, including Anti-Money Laundering and Data Protection, Becky plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the firm’s regulatory integrity.

Becky’s extensive experience in the legal industry includes working for businesses with ambitious growth strategies, where she has successfully led numerous acquisitions.
She began her legal career in civil litigation as a Fee Earner, negotiating legal costs, which provided her with valuable insights into the operational and regulatory challenges within the sector.
She holds a law degree and an Advanced Certificate in Legal Compliance, underpinning her deep understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape. Becky has held senior positions, including Head of Risk and Compliance at various firms, where she honed her expertise across a broad spectrum of disciplines.
Her knowledge spans legal regulation, risk management, quality assurance, anti-money laundering, data protection, information security, internal audit, and health and safety. She has a proven track record of enhancing anti-money laundering, policy, and risk management frameworks, driving improvements that ensure organisations meet the highest regulatory standards. Becky’s experience also includes designing and implementing robust information security, quality, risk, governance, and compliance frameworks and management systems.
