Sam Skelton is a Solicitor in our Employment team, having joined the firm as a Paralegal in 2022 before qualifying as a solicitor in 2026.

A highly driven and adaptable lawyer, Sam is recognised for his strong work ethic, attention to detail and commitment to delivering clear, practical advice to clients. He supports employers in navigating workplace issues effectively, from early stage advisory matters through to complex dispute resolution.

Sam’s prior experience across Dispute Resolution and Corporate & Finance has strengthened his litigation insight and commercial awareness, enabling him to provide employment law advice that is both strategically robust and aligned with wider business objectives.

Sam advises employers across the full lifecycle of employment disputes, including employment tribunal claims, from initial instruction through to resolution.

He plays an active role in managing proceedings, acting as a key point of contact for clients and ensuring a structured and strategic approach to case progression.

His litigation background includes experience in complex disputes within the County Court and High Court, giving him a strong understanding of procedural risk, evidential requirements and negotiation strategy. This foundation allows him to approach employment matters with a commercially focused and pragmatic mindset.

During his training contract, Sam also gained valuable experience within Corporate & Finance, supporting transactional matters and developing an understanding of the commercial drivers and operational challenges faced by businesses. This enables him to deliver employment advice that is grounded in commercial reality as well as legal principle.
