This year’s Sporting Futures Derby 10K is set to be the biggest yet, with over 5,000 runners from across the East Midlands taking part.

This years’ run, which takes place on Sunday 06 April 2014, has a different route for 2014, but as usual is starting and finishing at the Pride Park stadium, the home of Derby County Football Club.

The majority of runners will be raising money for charity by testing themselves on the tarmac and, as usual, Flint Bishop staff will also be joining with a team of their own.

In addition to providing financial support for Sporting Futures through sponsorship, we also sit on the management committee and provide free commercial and business planning advice.

A spokesperson for the firm commented on the sponsorship:

“This partnership gives us a great opportunity to increase our exposure in Derby, supporting Sporting Futures which is a charity that helps young people from some of the most deprived parts of Derbyshire. Their work is invaluable in turning around the lives of people through sport.”

Stuart Felce, Acting Director of Sporting Futures says:

“We are delighted that Flint Bishop is again sponsoring the Sporting Futures Derby 10K. Like all charities, raising finance is hugely important to us and this partnership is invaluable.”
