We are pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Turk as a Senior Associate in our Corporate team, based in Sheffield, further strengthening our transactional capability across Yorkshire and the North.

Having previously held roles at Knights, Keebles and Irwin Mitchell, Peter brings extensive experience advising businesses, shareholders and investors on a broad range of complex corporate transactions.

He advises clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to large multinationals, with expertise spanning domestic and international M&A, private equity transactions, shareholder and joint venture agreements, employee ownership trusts and corporate reorganisations.

During his career, Peter has advised on a number of significant transactions. His experience includes advising on the eight-figure sale of Yorkshire car parts and accessories retailer BullsEye Superfactors Ltd to an employee ownership trust, financed by NatWest, as well as supporting the £120m sale of Sheffield-based Clear Line, a specialist full-service façade remediation and cladding contractor, to a listed Swedish business.

Peter has also advised a leading international business in the optical sector on the acquisition of a UK buying group, further demonstrating the breadth of his experience across different transactions, ownership structures and sectors.

Alongside his broader transactional work, Peter has particular experience working with businesses across the engineering, manufacturing and technology sectors, providing commercially focused advice that reflects the wider objectives behind a transaction.

His appointment adds further depth and transactional expertise to our Corporate team in Sheffield as we continue to expand our corporate and commercial capability across the region.

Peter’s arrival also supports Flint Bishop’s wider growth across Yorkshire and the North, strengthening the specialist support available to businesses, investors and professional advisers as we continue to develop our presence in the regional corporate market.

We are pleased to welcome Peter to the firm and look forward to the contribution he will make to our growing Corporate practice.
