Flint Bishop joined nearly 200 people from businesses and organisations across Derby to take part in the first ever Derby Business Games on Thursday 06 July 2017.
The firm joined businesses and organisations across Derby to compete in a range of competitions at the Derby Business Games, organised by HUUB Events, which was designed to be the grown-up version of a traditional sports day.
Teams of eight competed in rounders and dodgeball along with mini-events such as wheelbarrow races, three-legged races and egg and spoon. The afternoon was finished off with a BBQ and a tug of war finale before the winners were presented with their awards.
The aim of the Derby Business Games is to bring people in the community together and to establish which business is the sportiest in the city – Flint Bishop was awarded joint first in the dodgeball and also won the three-legged race, making them the leading law firm at the Games.
Andrew Cochrane comments:
“This was a great opportunity for Derby firms to come together for an afternoon of competitive fun; we thoroughly enjoyed being involved and look forward to next year.”
