We were delighted to support the University of Derby by presenting the Student Placement Awards on 29 January 2016.

We had the opportunity to meet some of the students who had completed their placement programmes through the University of Derby and to hear about their experiences and the benefits that the placement had bought to them.
All of the students obtained employment as a result of their placement and all felt that it was very beneficial to the development of their employability skills.
One of our employees presented the Student Placement Awards to University of Derby students, in recognition of the successful completion of their year-long work placements. The employee commented on the awards ceremony:
“It was a thoroughly enjoyable event working with the University of Derby and their placement students. Each winner had a great story to tell about their journey and how it had assisted them in their search for a graduate job.”
Bev Crighton, a spokesperson for the University of Derby, commented on the awards ceremony:
“We have already had feedback about how you were really inspirational to the students. It means so much to the students and the University.”
