According to the latest Diversity League Table, which is sponsored by The Law Society, we employed the most female associates and the most ethnic minority trainees of all UK law firms.

The Diversity League Table is the legal profession’s premier diversity publication. Now in its seventh year, it is an annual analysis of ethnicity and gender diversity in law firms. It also covers the percentages of disabled and lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) employees in firms. 50 UK and international firms with UK bases participated in the League Table.

We also came third in the UK for the overall number of female and ethnic minority partners, associates and trainees we employ.

What is more, we achieved Top 10 rankings for employing disabled staff and, for the last three years running, ethnic minority partners.

These rankings are a significant achievement given that the average firm involved in the table has 447 fee earners, whereas we have only 98.

A spokesperson for the firm commented:

“These rankings are an important independent reflection of our continued commitment to diversity in the workplace. We are very pleased to have ranked so highly for many of the key diversity categories”.
