We have received another shortlist at the 2016 Education Investor Awards for our contributions to the education sector.
The firm has been nominated for the ‘Legal Advisors to Education Institutions’ category of the Education Investor Awards 2016. A category they have now been nominated for, for the past three years
This nomination recognises the firm’s ability to deliver specialist advice to the education sector, in almost all areas of law.
More recently, Flint Bishop has extended its offering to support and advise schools on academy conversions and the formation of collaborative academy trusts. Since launching, the team have been in communication with more than 230 schools across the Midlands, in just a few months. They have received instructions from a number of schools and trusts to assist them, either form new trusts and partnerships with other schools or to expand existing trusts with new schools coming in.
Robert Tice comments;
“I am very pleased that the education team have been recognised for this prestigious award, for a third year running. Our support to the education sector does not stop with our legal advice, we are proud to support our local schools and universities, becoming mentors of E4E, mentoring students and training. However, the offering to this sector has gone from strength to strength and we are proud to support our local education establishments in almost all areas. These include commercial property, commercial contracts, employment, corporate and finance, dispute resolution and private client services, to name a few. We are very much looking forward to attending the awards ceremony on 16 November 2016 in London.”
