We are pleased to announce that George Ottewell has successfully completed his training contract and officially qualified as a Solicitor.

George joined us in 2021 as a Paralegal, quickly demonstrating an exceptional work ethic and a strong practical understanding of commercial law. His dedication earned him a training contract, which he began in March 2022.

Over the past four years, George has taken on significant responsibility and worked tirelessly to broaden his expertise across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters within our Commercial & Data Protection and Corporate & Finance departments. He provides crucial support to senior team members, acting for national and international clients, including some of the largest privately owned SMEs and multinationals.

Beyond the firm, George shows the same commitment, serving as Deputy Vice-President for Derby Junior Lawyers, a group of young legal professionals offering training, networking, and charitable and social opportunities within the local community.

George will continue his role within our Corporate & Finance department, working alongside Martyn, Mark, and supported by Rob. We have no doubt he will continue to excel, using his excellent client care skills and unwavering commitment to excellence to further strengthen our team’s success.

Please join us in congratulating George on this significant milestone and wishing him all the best as he embarks on this next chapter with us.
