We are pleased to announce that Thomas Lindars has joined Flint Bishop as a Solicitor in our Commercial Dispute Resolution team, based in Derby, following his qualification as a Solicitor.

Thomas joins the firm on qualification, having completed his training contract with BPE Solicitors. During his training, he gained broad commercial experience through seats in Commercial Litigation, Commercial Property, Employment, and Corporate & Commercial.

This varied background has given Thomas a well-rounded understanding of the legal and commercial challenges faced by businesses, alongside practical experience across both contentious and non-contentious matters.

His litigation experience includes supporting clients with commercial and shareholder disputes and breach of contract claims, as well as legal research, drafting, disclosure exercises and client communications. Thomas has also gained experience across acquisitions, lease negotiations, landlord and tenant matters, and contentious and non-contentious employment issues.

In his new role, Thomas will manage his own caseload of commercial disputes while supporting senior colleagues on more complex matters. His work will span contractual claims, commercial property disputes, landlord and tenant matters, professional negligence and debt recovery.

Thomas’s appointment adds further capability to our Commercial Dispute Resolution team as we continue to develop the specialist support available to businesses facing commercial disputes.

We look forward to supporting Thomas as he begins the next stage of his legal career with Flint Bishop.
