Flint Bishop is pleased to be sponsoring the Hannells Darley Park Concert, which is due to take place on Sunday 03 September 2017.
The firm will be joining forces with local businesses Huub, Mortgage Advice Bureau, PKF Cooper Parry, Specsavers and BMW Stratstone Derby.
The event did not take place at Darley Park last year, but this year, over 40,000 people will be able to join in and watch Sinfonia Viva perform some of the region’s favourites.
This is a fantastic opportunity to bring back one of the area’s much-loved events, only made possible by Derby City Council, who opted to put aside more than £250,000 of its annual budget to pay for various cultural events, including the concert. Local companies were then given the opportunity to bridge the gap in the remaining cost, which is being led by the main sponsor.
The cost of tickets for the event has been announced as free for under 16s and a modest early bird offer of £2.50 (£5 on the gate) for adults. Tickets are now on sale via the Derby Live website, by phone or can be booked at the Assembly Rooms Information Centre.
Andrew Cochrane comments:
“I’m very pleased that we have joined forces with our local business community to bring back the very enjoyable Darley Park Concert. As a firm, we are always looking for opportunities to make a difference in the community and being able to financially support an event of this size was a great opportunity to give something back. I am very much looking forward to the event in September and have every faith it will be just as enjoyable as the last few years.”
