We are pleased to welcome Darren Hackley-Green, who has joined Flint Bishop as a Partner in our Insurance Litigation team, based in Birmingham.

Darren brings more than 25 years of litigation experience, with particular expertise in defendant serious and catastrophic injury, Large Loss claims and motor litigation. His experience also spans complex injury and fatal accident claims, alongside specialist knowledge of jurisdictional and procedural issues.

His career has included senior roles at NewLaw Solicitors and DAC Beachcroft LLP, where he co-managed the Volume Motor Litigation team and led the British Division of the Motor Prosecutions Unit. This provides Darren with extensive technical and leadership experience, alongside a strong understanding of the requirements of insurer and defendant clients.

A Solicitor-Advocate with Civil and Criminal Higher Rights of Audience and an APIL-accredited Senior Litigator, Darren’s expertise has also been recognised by both The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners.

Alongside managing complex litigation, Darren has maintained a strong focus on developing legal talent throughout his career. His experience includes mentoring and managing fee earners, delivering technical training and sharing best practice across legal teams. He also tutors students undertaking CILEX and SQE qualifications.

Darren’s appointment adds significant senior technical expertise to our Insurance Litigation team as we continue to expand our Large Loss offering and strengthen relationships with insurer clients.

His combination of complex claims experience, advocacy qualifications and leadership expertise further enhances our ability to support clients across high-value and technically challenging insurance litigation.

We are pleased to welcome Darren to the firm and look forward to the contribution he will make to the continued development of our Insurance Litigation practice.
