We are pleased to announce that Flint Bishop has been shortlisted for ‘Law Firm of the Year: The Independents’ at The Lawyer Awards 2020.

Considered to be the largest celebration of legal excellence in Europe, these awards attract submissions from some of the UK’s largest top 200 law firms, which presents strong opposition and a tough decision for the judges.

To be considered for this award, firms had to provide evidence of strategic vision and leadership, strong financial management and growth, significant client wins, innovation in client service delivery and excellent talent management and workplace development.

Being shortlisted for this award caps off another stellar year, which saw the firm post a record turnover of £15.5m, up 8% on the previous year, being awarded the Investors in People gold standard and opening a new Birmingham office.

2019/20 also marked a particularly successful year for new client wins, adding to our ever-growing national client base which includes a number of the UK’s leading names such as, Royal Mail, Heineken, SIG and Autoglass to name just a few.

Chief Executive, Qamer Ghafoor, commented:

“Receiving this shortlist nomination at such a prestigious award ceremony is recognition for our commitment to making Flint Bishop a success.

“I would like to thank everyone in the firm for all of their hard work, dedication and for consistently delivering an excellent service to our clients.

“We now look forward to the virtual awards ceremony on 03 November to celebrate with all the winners and finalists.”
