Melbourne Rugby Football Club currently has three senior sides, a colts side, 300 mini, junior players and three girls’ sides. Not only is it looking forward to a strong season on the playing front, but also a £2.5m pound project to develop its new clubhouse, changing rooms and playing facilities should be completed for the 2014/15 season.

As a firm, we already have a long-standing commitment to supporting its local sporting community, already being sponsors of the likes of Derby County Football Club, Derbyshire County Cricket Club and Bradley Netball Team in Ashbourne.

We also support Derby youth charity, Sporting Futures, which helps disadvantaged youngsters increase their confidence, teamwork skills and future prospects through sport.

We have been very keen to sponsor the Melbourne Rugby Football Club for some time and seized the opportunity when offered. Andrew Cochrane says;

Chairman of Melbourne Rugby Football Club, Peter Ilott, commented on our sponsorship:

“Melbourne Rugby Football Club would like to thank Flint Bishop for their agreement to sponsor us. The contribution will enable Melbourne Rugby Football Club to continue to strive to perform at the highest level possible after the successful 2012-2013 season. The 1st XV achieved a promotion and cup double last year and now play at the highest level in the club’s history. The kind donation will certainly help towards covering coaching and playing costs of the club.”
