We are delighted to announce the promotion of Mzwandile Mabhena to Associate.

Mzwandile’s career with the firm to date is a clear example of what ambition and development can achieve at Flint Bishop. Since joining as a Legal Assistant in 2015, he has progressed through roles as Senior Legal Assistant and Team Leader, before qualifying as a solicitor after completing his training contract with us in 2023.

As a key member of our high-performing debt recovery team, he focuses on high-volume, contested matters. Mzwandile’s clear and calm communication style, combined with a commercial mindset and strategic approach, has been instrumental in consistently delivering strong results for our clients.

He works with some of the most diverse client portfolios in the department, spanning sectors such as advertising, government, office supplies, workwear, and waste management. His deep understanding of industry-specific challenges enables him to tailor advice and recovery strategies effectively to each client.

Mzwandile also achieved his inaugural ranking as a Recommended Lawyer in the Legal 500 this year, and this promotion further acknowledges his legal expertise and the consistently high standard of service he delivers to our clients.

Congratulations to Mzwandile on this well-earned promotion and we wish him continued success in his new role.
