05 October 2017: We won the ‘Collections’ category at the 2017 CCR awards

This is the second time our Commercial Debt Recovery team has won this prestigious award, highlighting the outstanding work we continue to do on behalf of our clients.

The awards ceremony took place on Tuesday 03 October overlooking the Tower Bridge and the River Thames at the Guoman Tower hotel, attended by industry experts and other law firms also aiming to achieve this elite status.

Qamer Ghafoor comments;

“This is a fantastic achievement for our well-deserving team. Without their commitment, dedication and loyalty over the last 12 months, this would not have been possible.

Our legal experts have shown the necessary experience and expertise to handle high volume, low value recoveries as well as more complex high valuedisputes, acting for leading brands in the UK.

To win the Collections category at this years’ CCR Credit Excellence Awards again signifies the quality of the work we do. It gives me great pleasure to lead such a commercially astute department.”

In last 12 months, our commercial debt recovery function has continued to excel and increase in size offering debt recovery partnerships for national and international companies, throughout multiple industries.

As part of continued works with blue-chip companies nationwide, we are reducing costs for commercial debt recovery processes, increasing productivity and improving the UK’s bad debt situation.

30 August 2017: We have been shortlisted as finalists in three classifications at the forthcoming Credit Excellence Awards 2017

Following record-breaking commercial activities this year, we have been shortlisted for three categories in this years’ national Credit Excellence Awards. Those categories are Collections, Legal and Enforcement and, for our new white-labelled offering FB Collections, Newcomer to the Credit Industry.

The Credit Excellence Awards have established themselves as a real judge of excellence in the industry, as applicants compete to win one of only eight awards.

We are the only firm to be shortlisted finalists for three different categories and being shortlisted finalists for any of these awards is an achievement on its own, with only the top three applications from across the country being shortlisted from hundreds of entries.

Having previously won in the Collections category and being highly commended in the Legal and Enforcement category in 2015, we are highly experienced in and well recognised for our credit management and commercial debt recovery services.

The winners of each award will be announced in a London-based awards ceremony on Tuesday 03 October 2017.

FB Collections and our Debt Recovery team are led by Qamer Ghafoor, who comments on the firm’s achievement:

“We have worked extremely hard over the past 12-months to expand our national collections offering.  Flint Bishop now provides the complete end-to-end debt recovery service, from outsourced ‘white-labelled Early Collections’ right through to expert litigation where required.

To be shortlisted as finalists in three different classifications is further industry recognition that Flint Bishop provide an unparalleled service in all areas of collections.  This is all due to the continuous hard work of our dedicated client support teams.”
