Kirpal Bidmead is now responsible for providing legal advice, handling lawsuits and negotiating contracts for Derbyshire County Cricket Club.

2017 promises to be an exciting year for Derbyshire County Cricket Club, with around 15,000 music fans expected to attend Sir Elton John’s worldwide Wonderful Crazy Nights tour date at the ground on Sunday 04 June 2017, as well as hosting the ICC Women’s World Cup opening match and seven other games in the tournament from Saturday 24 June 2017.

All this, as well as a series of exciting events for former club captain Wayne Madsen’s testimonial year, who led the club to the County Championship Division Two title as skipper in 2012 and is the county’s sixth-highest century-maker in first-class history.

Ian Beardmore comments;

“I am very pleased that Kirpal has joined the Club as Legal Services Director on the Supervisory Board at Derbyshire County Cricket Club. She will be a great asset to the Club as it continues to grow. This year marks a great year for the Club with Elton John, the ICC Women’s World Cup and the Wayne Madsen Testimonial, to name a few. I have no doubt that Kirpal will perform as well at the Club, as she has done since joining Flint Bishop. On behalf of the firm, I wish her the very best of luck as she takes up this role.”
