2025/26 has seen us deliver a landmark year of growth, surpassing £40m in revenue for the first time and setting out a major expansion strategy as we accelerates our drive to become a Top 100 UK law firm.

For the year ending 30 April 2026, the firm achieved revenue of £43m, up from £31.7m the previous year and £20.7m in 2024. The result marks more than a doubling in size over two years, achieved while continuing to operate without external debt. Headcount has also risen to a record 452, with 127 new joiners over the past 12 months.

This marks a period of “step change”, reflecting coordinated expansion across our offices, practice areas, and central functions. Growth has been driven by a disciplined and assertive strategy combining acquisitions, lateral hires, and significant investment, enabling the firm to scale capability while strengthening our national client base.

This momentum has been reflected in significant new client wins and practice areas, the deepening of existing relationships, and continued instruction growth over the past 12 months, with strong demand from both major national brands and regional clients.

A key milestone in this phase of expansion was our entry into the North of England through the integration of Lupton Fawcett, establishing offices in Leeds, Sheffield, and York, significantly enhancing both our Business and Private Client service lines.

Alongside strong financial performance, we have continued to strengthen our platform through expansion, strategic acquisitions, and sustained investment in IT infrastructure, AI, and technological advancement—ensuring we are not only growing, but also building a business designed to scale.

The firm has also made significant investment in our people, with record levels of promotions and training contracts awarded, alongside our largest-ever cohort enrolled this year on the Flint Bishop Law Academy, an in-house development programme designed to nurture future legal talent and support professionals at every stage of their legal careers.

Chief Executive Qamer Ghafoor said:

“This has been a defining year for Flint Bishop. Breaking through the £40m mark is a major milestone, but what matters most is the strength, depth, and ambition of our people, who have made this growth possible.

Our continued expansion is a deliberate and structured strategy. Scaling the business and expertise will ensure we have the capability and capacity to meet rising client demand, while strengthening our position as a resilient, full service, technology-enabled national platform to deliver sustainable long-term growth.”

Flint Bishop is now targeting revenues in excess of £50m for FY27.

Ghafoor added:

“We enter the new financial year from a position of strength, with a clear focus on building out our key support functions, including IT, finance, HR, operations, recruitment, and compliance, alongside increased investment in marketing and business development.

As we scale, we will continue to prioritise quality, consistency, and discipline across the business, supported by targeted lateral hires, team moves, and selective acquisitions.
