Joining from a national law firm, Joel Nixon has a wealth of experience advising clients in the private, third and public sector across a variety of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations, and joint ventures, as well as commercial contracting and projects.

He has a notable specialism in the health and social care sector; in particular, acting for a range of operators across residential care, supported living, domiciliary care, healthtech, dental, pharmacy, ophthalmology and physiotherapy.

He has also worked within the General Counsel function of the Parabis Group (former home of professional services businesses such as Plexus Law, Greenwoods Solicitors and Argent Rehabilitation), acting internally on the Group’s eventual pre-pack administration and disposal to various acquirers in the market.

Joel is our eighth partner appointment in the Midlands over the last 12 months, and the third lateral hire into the Corporate Finance team that has been put in place to serve the region.

I am really looking forward to playing my part in the project in such a competitive region, coupled with the ambitious plans of the firm moving forward more generally, and cannot wait to get started.
